History: Location
Martin Lukas Ostachowski (MLO) is a is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher, writer, and collector. When reviewing the pieces in Seasons of Mobility, MLO was drawn to pieces that seem to be located somewhere in Asia. This started with Professor Disarrange (above), but then continued to other pieces in the collection.
Reviewing Professor Act (above), Mayor Convert (below) and other pieces, MLO felt this was more than a coincidence. He contacted Mobility about the idea and a formal research investigation started. The conclusion for these three pieces was clear: Professor Disarrange is located in Hong Kong, Professor Act in Tokyo, and Mayor Convert in Hong Kong. So what’s the next step?
MLO discovered a location trait for these three pieces, and this means that there is a hidden location trait for every Seasons of Mobility piece in the collection. Mobility will continue to research this hidden trait piece by piece and will publish the full history once that research is complete.
